Its 2020 anybody that has google and isn't lazy can figure out how to do it with ease.
Anybody that pay's $100 per month is just looking for a shortcut that doesn't exist, you get out what you put in, This has never changed and never will, Getting in shape and or or building muscle isn't at all complicated, People only over complicate it to sell programs and meal plan's etc. The only people that will benefit from paying somebody to do all this is professional athletes looking for that extra 5% edge at the elite level.
The hardest thing about getting in shape is having the desire and discipline to do so. If you have that you will find a way and if you don't you will find an excuse.
The Fitness industry irritates me too. The Industry overly complicate things to grab money from people's lack of knowledge.
I have a couple friends just over 30 with no sports background who decided to start working out in order to lose weight and help with milder anxiety issues. Pretty ordinary people. They keep buying programs and going to expensive PTs. Nothing really sticks.
I thing one problem is that people keep trying these cool, drastic and complicated methods that promise a lot but just make people confused and emotionally drained.
People should start slow and work themselves into a healthier way of living. If you are, as my friends, somewhat overweight and insecure, maybe just start jogging 2K every Friday. Then start playing basketball with your church on Sundays. When you are ready maybe add two sessions of full body strength training per week. Maybe a spinning class? Just start slow and build up your ability to be consistent.
