Very Convinced Gane Wins Now

It's not true that Gane is only talking about preparation and beating Francis. He also brought up his desire to compete in boxing and box Fury and Wilder in a recent interview. The interviewer didn't even ask him about boxing. These guys plus Usman are looking for the big payday, plain and simple. Fortunately for them they have managers to handle that stuff so they can focus on training.

I know what you're saying. I tend to wonder that as well, but even then. That doesn't always mean anything. Maybe that will make him have more drive to make a statement and show he is king, or maybe he'll punch em in the nuts like his Jackass 4 skit, get banned and go to boxing. It would be epic in it's own way.
 
This is one of those fights where my brain says Gane, but my adrenaline gland (if that’s a real thing lol) says Ngannou. Time and time again my brain is proven right.

I’m still picking Ngannou.
 
I don't accept the idea that fighters must only think about their opponent in some sort of obsessive way 24/7 if they hope to win their next fight. Even if Ngannou were to obsess, Gane still wins.

Gane by all means is technically the "better fighter", but Ngannou still has the high ground here. Like, make a human fight a bear. Bears don't need technique.

I pretty much agree with this. I don’t think Francis is actually a better fighter then Gane anywhere, he just has that RIDICULOUS power. On a side note, I’ve actually heard both of them talking about IF they lose… dont always see that in a fight.
 
Outside circumstances have an enormous impact on your mindset. There's just no way to know for sure what that's going to be w/out previous data. It's unique to the individual.

But trust me, if it weren't so, militaries around the world (ours included) wouldn't invest so much energy into taking advantage of it.
 
Has it ever worked with fighters who fight out their contract to renew with a bigger, much fatter paycheck? Feels like they always trip on the finish line. I know it's one of many UFC related curses and those are to be taken with a bath of salt but still...

One can also say Frank is being too cocky and overlooking Gane, a very game opponent.

this feels like a TJ vs Barao type fight, where Gane is prepared and Frank is cocky and under prepared (I hope he has trained well)

Yeah, he's like a video game they all play to get the easy kill bonus. I do feel bad for his brain. Luckily he won't remember the bad decisions he made for his health so he won't have to deal with guilt. Just a bib.

I'm a big bath salts fan. Love the stuff. Human flesh tastes GREAT when I'm on that stuff. Everyone's talking supply chains and possible food shortage. I have a plan - I'm stocking up on bath salts. I'll never go hungry!

Francis hasn't fought since last March.. Gane fought 3 times last year..

To me, everything is pointing to Gane winning this fight. More active, more skilled, more focused. I was 50/50. Not anymore.
