I'm out of the loop right now but I loved watching this guy fight, I thought he was the next best thing. Where/what/when is he at right now? Please somebody fill me in, thanks.

Wasn't he the next golden boy almost? I don't see anyone talk about him anymore. He beat mosley twice...

i think the losses to ricardo mayorga really hurt him. 2003 was supposed to be his big yr coming off two victories over shane mosley. then losing to a guy he was expected to beat not once but twice.

yeah I know I don't even want to remember those fights. So what is it with him? He can't take that punch? that attacker?

His shoulder fucked him over. First time around with Mayorga, he was caught by surprise completely and he didn't have the powerful, forceful jab to fend Mayorga off. Second time around, I felt he won by decision.

Pretty good fighter that got sidelined by injury. By time his should got better, he got old. Shit happens.
