I just watch a docu on Valentina, and there is a footage of these incident.
Apparently 1 month before the Holm fight Valentina and her head couch Pavel Fedotov were dining in a restaurant in Peru, when 3 armed robbers entered the restaurant. Pavel told her not to make a move as he was an accomplished shooter, so he drew a gun, and began shooting.
It can be seen in the video, that he was shot, and Valentina came to pick him up.

Yeah I read about that at the time. Hadn't seen the video before, but I did read about it.
Plenty of guns in ex-Soviet Union states, Valentina probably was exposed to guns at a young age. Tough lady.

You can clearly see in the video that he comes and shoots a robber from close range when the robber robs some man.
