    Hi,

This gym is the closest to me and I'm wondering if any of you can vouch whether or not this is a good/great gym for a beginner to start and advance with.

Goals: To learn muay thai and become proficient to participate in amateur bouts.

    Any info is appreciated.

    Thanks!

I really hate the term "Muay Thai Kickboxing"

To the TS, see if they will let you take a trial class and see if you like it...

"Muay Thai Kickboxing" is a very shoot-fighting and MMAcentric term. The principles and science of Muay Thai combined with the fighters other preferences...

In that case, I don't have a problem with the word. But one should be wary of schools which describe themselves in such a way...
