the wife and i and our 12 year old daughter have a trip planned for costa rica in june but in researching going there we have hit some snags for our lifestyle that dampens our desire to go.
the main reason is traffic moves at a snails pace and we hate to drive. everything is pretty close there but going 50 miles to a site can take two or three hours. on top of that daylight ends at about 6PM and we all hate to get up early and rush out but they recommend not traveling after dark so your whole day should be wrapped up and finished by 6pm.
this makes the whole trip seem like for us it will be rushed.
the reason for going there was/is to be in nature, ocean water and to experience a rain forest ecosystem.
what other countries do you guys suggest that are very SAFE to be in that would meet these needs but without the terrible driving problem where you have to spend hours a day in the car if you go anywhere?
pics of local girls from the places you recommend are welcome as i want a lot of traffic on this thread so i get some good suggestions.
help me pick a good place to go!!!
