Usyk from the recent Joshua fight

    vs

Mike Tyson that fought against Spinks

Because according to the Joshua fight apparently strength and size doesnt matter for sh1t in boxing...

Well it could be worse, this could've been a Usyk vs Paul thread...

Mike knew to work the body unlike Joshua... Also had a better jab than Joshua, believe it or not... And we don't have to talk head movement - Usyk's left hand wouldn't find the target as often as it did with Joshua.

Btw: I'm responding just for fun... I don't like fantasy match up discussions for various reasons.

Mike Tyson takes him out in about 85 seconds into the 1st round.

Mike Tyson struggled quite a bit against tall, technical boxers with good reach.

Usyk may seem small compared to today’s heavies but he’d be quite big during Tyson’s time.

Mike Tyson would be a bad matchup for him. But Usyk could beat guys Tyson would struggle with and talking about greatness there is no doubt Usyk will go down as the better fighter.

I feel like it's hard to tell, Tyson like tests at HW don't really exist today. But contrary to what may be popular belief, Usyk has the tools to challenge many HW greats.

Tyson steamrolls him like he did Spinks.

he backs straight up quite often. tyson/foreman/frazier/holyfield/bowe/etc. would follow him to the ropes and batter his body. usyk isn’t gonna be able to run away from any of these guys

    No he wouldn't.
Most of Tysons opponents were 6'3 or taller.

It's a good point that, I'd be backing Usyk personally.

Usyk would not be favorite vs many of Tysons top 80s opponents. Settle down fan boys.

Guess I gotta be the guy that sounds like a complete idiot lol, but I think Usyk could give prime Tyson a pretty good fight. I’m not saying Usyk will win, but I don’t think Tyson steamrolls Usyk in one round. I think Usyk could go the distance and make it competitive. Prime Tyson couldn’t knockout Tillis, Bonecrusher, Blood Green, Jerry Curl that broke his hand, etc.. It’s not impossible to believe someone could make it the distance with Tyson. With what I’ve seen from Usyk I think he gives Tyson a good run for his money. Tyson UD in a competitive fight

Usyk wins in an upset and sherbros will say Tyson was overrated for losing to Usyk because Usyk was never good to begin with

Usually the guys who survived 12 were the ones fighting to survive. Usyk isn't gonna come in to tie up Tyson he's gonna throw punches and that's how he's gonna taste speed he never encountered before
