He's kind of in a rough spot after this main event. Think of it like this- he's the best welterweight in the world. He's coming off an amazing fight that was back-and-forth and action-packed to the extent that it was like watching a movie fight where they just amp things up for excitement purposes.
Yet, because Conor and Masvidal are in his weight class currently and are bigger names, he is at risk of being an afterthought in his own division. He says things like "Who" when asked about Mas or warning Conor not to even attempt to get a WW title shot because it would be a career killer. He would almost assuredly be too much for Conor with his style and physicality and he is a potential bad fight for a dangerous Mas as well.
But these guys are seemingly more interested in fights with one another than with a crack at his championship. It's not a good look when the marquee fight in your division is one where the top contender circumvents a bout with you in order to fight the biggest name in the sport.
