Hes significantly more active in the cage than Woodley and that's an important part to consider going into this fight. Colby basically outshines Woodley in every facet of MMA outside of speed and power.

That's the difference man Colby needz to throw a whole bunch of punches to get them points for a decision win, TWood just needz to throw one fight done no decision required...

Yeah Usman is more powerful but what happens when/if it goes further to the championship rounds I think Colby might have the better cardio to outwork Marty in the end

Like others have said, Colby has top-tier cardio, generally moves forward, while Woodly spent 90 percent of that standing fight backing up on his back foot.

I think Usman will win as well, but I would be shocked if Colby acts like Woodley did in there.

Not pointless, as you yourself say Colby is a forward pressure fighter. It's going to take some effort to back him up, unlike Woodley who backs up every second of every fight.

Just f*king stop with that sh!t I don't give a f*k how active Colby is I think WB is way more active and look how shut down he fought Woodley 2X and his style is polar opposite to Woodley. Colby is gonna have the same problem he would've had if had fought with Woodley that he's going to have with Usman a guy who does what you do with more physical size & strength and just overall meanness.

RDA was able to turn & reverse Colby very easily at times and RDA is a small WW I don't find Colby to have a high fight IQ to compensate for his lack of size, strength, and meanness..

I dont see Colby going forward this fight. He will avoid the wrestling and try to win a stand up fight where he can pepper shots and is lighter on the feet. If they clinch the strength differential will show up quickly and Colby might gas even though he has outstanding cardio, Cause he will be working near maximal effort to match Usmans 80% strength out put.

Colby's natural game is clinching though, the difference maybe being that he will be trying to take Usman down much more than Woodley did.

Tyron is always terrified of gassing, Colby isn't.

Nah, it happened. I'm pretty sure even Woodley admitted it at one point. I could be remembering incorrectly, though.

Its not that Usman cant take Colby down. Its that Colbys cardio far exceed Twoods and he if Usman cant do instant damage Colby will get up.

The puzzle Colby presents to his opponents is highest punch output of all WWs combined with a high level gas tank and very good wrestling. You can defeat him but he will put constant pressure on you every second of the fight.

Biggest risk for Usman is burning out. Its imo a clear path to victory for both.

Colby = win via points by superior output and maneuvering. Stay in mid distance

Usman = win via clinch game and short attack bursts with possibiity to end the fight. Stay in clinch or outside

People underestimate the damage these light punches from Colby do via acumulation.
It can drain your cardio. Colbys biggest improvement would be if he could mix that with well masked power punches. With this output at some point his opponents have to take a punch and if Colby could capitalize on that he would be a world class fighter (he is close to that).

Tyron isn't very mobile and he didn't want an exhausting wrestling bout. In the very first td attempt from Usman Woodley tried a guillotine. That's very telling.

Colby will be a much more dynamic and mobile opponent with cardio to match Usman.

Woodley denied any such thing happened just more Colby spouting like claiming to sleep with pornstars who then turn around and put him blast for his lies, much like his mentor the Truth has no place with them...

i don't mean he's not going to clinch, he's just not going to accept the clinch on Usman's terms the way Woodley did. Woodley just let Usman do what he wanted. Colby won't allow Usman to do what he wants, if Usman wants those same positions he had on Woodley he's going to have to work for it.
