I know Bellator and UFC will never do a cross-promotion fight card. However, if they did, Lightweight Champ vs Lightweight Champ, Usman Nurmagomedov vs Islam Makhachev. Who wins? What round? TKO or Submission? Also, I know they would never fight against each other...BUT if they did...who wins?

Yeah, I'd suspect Islam could find the takedown and win. Also they're both very defensive strikers who like to sit back with low outputs, I don't think Usmans style of striking is the kind to give Islam that much trouble. Also Islam just looks bigger, stronger and sooo much more developed and dominant a grappler.
Honestly I think a guy like Arman might beat Usman too, we don't know how good Usman is and the plebs will say he's the best in the world if he beats 2-5 in his last 7, 41 year old Benson but wait. But let's see how he does vs Tofiq/Shabliy winner, Mansour Barnaoui and AJ McKee those are huge tests, the semi finals and finals of the LW Bellator tournament will tell us a lot.

I'm 50/50 Usman even remains Bellator LW Champ by the end of the year. If he beats 2 out of the 3 necessary to win the tournament, so after Benson the bracket presumably will be Tofiq/Shabliy, Mansour, McKee and Usman...if he beats 2 of those guys who in my opinion are top 15, very possibly top 10 UFC caliber, as a 24-25 year old? I'll be blown away. Winner of Shabliy vs Tofiq is a proven top 10 LW in the world in my eyes.
Just so much fun, seeing how far Umar, Usman and Islam can take what Khabib started. Whether you're rooting for or against them, it's just awesome.
