Jones was tested randomly on 18 Dec by the NSAC.

    http://www.mmaweekly.com/jon-jones-undergoes-random-drug-test-in-ufc-182-lead-up

It has no use to test an athlete within two weeks for his fight, they should do it at eight weeks out.
Secondly the result will be out after the fight when everything is all set and done and UFC has all its money. So what's the use of that?
It almost looks like a PR stunt by the UFC & NSAC.
Or it could be one of those screw ups by the NSAC.

you two could get a room...

since UFC doesn't take drugstesting serious anymore, they just cancelled their random testing program, i see NSAC backing off too.

Yes, i know, they way i understand it, the UFC would give money to the SAC'S to do the advanced random testing.
Keizer always said it was a money isseu. so now the UFC has withdraw this program. The SAC'S do not have the funds anymore to do advanced random testing.

Lol. Are you seriously this dumb?

The UFC never said they were abolishing testing. They said they weren't going to be personally overseeing it anymore because of the mistakes that were made in the Cung Le testing. They never said they wouldn't provide funding for testing, and that they were against testing, they just don't want the accountability for it moving forward because they are a promotion, not a testing agency.

You're drawing a lot of really stupid conclusions.

Didn't you tell us in your other drug test thread that Vitor's results were back in two weeks?

Hopefully this is a step in the right direction....

Sanctioned and doctor supervised juicing of fighters who wish to indulge.

Be done with it and legalize medical supervised PED use.

Sports much more popular than MMA and with much more funding have failed to legitimize PED use even when everyone knows that PED use is rampant in professional athletics. It's really not that simple.

They always do in house testing after a non commission card and abroad.
and the Cung Le case was a post fight test, not a random advanced test
So why would the UFC use an excuse which has nothing to do with random testing?
