USADA vs NFL

When will people learn? There are no "freak athletes", just roid freaks. Go back a time before PED's. Pick a sport, any sport. Where were the "freak athletes"?

Tyson (when he was a kid) was a freak. Maybe adult Tyson took PEDs, but kid Tyson was clean. His speed/explosiveness didnt change much.

We have a 13 y/o kid here, pretty much any greco team and boxing coach wants him, but he choosed soccer ... hes not Tyson, but dude is a freak. And he already has one of the most important elements of athleticism: coordination

People think peds = instant A level athlete and that there are no freaks of nature and lebron james would be equal to Jimmie kimmel off the peds. People with poor genetics love this excuse.

I think every professional athlete use it at one time or another... especially for healing...

Here is a question. If playing in the NFL has a higher than normal risk of giving the players CTE, and PEDs have all the great mythical benefits that some people claim they have such as faster recovery, fewer injuries and etc, then shouldn't PEDs be encouraged to prevent CTE? LOL
Wouldn't PEDs increase the risk of CTE since it means the players can hit harder?

Or selling tires then fighting in a major MMA organization.
Or spending their time posting on Sherdog disparaging people who’ve achieved infinitely more in their athletic careers.
What’s it like to watching a sport that welcomes with open arms their rejects, like Hardy?

As a part timer in WWE, the wellness policy doesn't apply to Brock Lesnar.
It's for the "regular" wrestlers.

6 game suspension.....

Man the NFL is amazing. Everyone knows theyre juicing, so lets give them a little slap on the wrist and let them continue, while we masquerade as a "clean" sport.

Praise the NFL, wish the UFC did something like this.

A six game suspension is pretty big. It's about 40% of your yearly income down the drain. Consider your salary and how losing that much of it would affect your finances. Not to mention, a team going without a key player for a large part of the season is going to have it's season heavily affected.

I think sports fans have a tendency to lose perspective on just how draconian anti-PED rules already are.

Fuck cheaters. Only shit for brains want athletes to use peds.

Unfortunately, apparently no current medication (PED or otherwise) speeds up recovery of CTE's. Neurons just don't seem respond the way many other cell types do. If someone comes up with a drug that speeds neuron recovery it'll be huge, and for way more than just sport/CTE -- dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and a lot of other ailments of older folks are neurological in nature.
