Usada era Ronda

Lots of fighters haven't looked the same since the new testing came in. For whatever reason that may be, it surprises me how people like Hendricks are seen as victims of stringent testing when his route to victory (like Ronda) was something his opponent knew he was going to do - the overhand left / judo throw armbar and Ronda isn't even getting a mention in this. Everyone is innocent until proven otherwise and this is just for discussion, but her performances have been terrible.

In her case, I'd say it has little to nothing to do with USADA, and more to do with the fact that she's fought two opponents in a row whose strengths are her glaring weakness.

she also went six months without being tested (feb to sept) prior to her last fight during which time she dropped a shit ton of weight and got ripped

then four months before her fight against nunes she suddenly reappeared and got tested..

the previously most tested athlete, suddenly going six months without, then getting tested almost four months to the day before her fight... bit too co-incidental for my liking

fwiw, minute i saw Rousey tested at end of august i called it that she would fight on the Dec 30th show

I think it was the pressure of trying to become a star that did it. Before the Holm fight her victory was a foregone conclusion and people, including her, were more focused on where she was going outside of fighting.

That loss of focus + WMMA's top strikers getting better = no more Ronda. She also looked like total shit physically for the Holm fight, while Holm looked at her best. So who knows.

Fitter maybe ... but was she as big and strong as before?

She looked small vs Holly and small vs Nunes.

She always looked as strong or stronger than her opponents before that.

Excuses? I won't ask you to look through my post history, but I've never been a fan of hers. USADA or no, it should be pretty obvious to anyone why she's lost her last two fights.

Look at who she's fought. Holly Holm, a I-forget-how-many-time boxing champion whose style was tailor-made for Rousey's aggressive approach and utter lack of striking defense. And Amanda Nunes, who Ronda had more than enough time to prepare for, and whose mode of attack is a secret to precisely nobody, yet she was still beaten like a stepchild for exactly the same reason she lost to Holm - her striking (both attack and defense) is abysmal, and no amount of steroids would've changed that.
