With the whole Qatar bribery scandal happening. It could open the door to a re-vote.

From CNN.
"FIFA vice-president Jim Boyce has said he would back a re-vote, potentially opening the possibility of the U.S. staging the 2022 tournament.
When FIFA voted on who should host the 2022 World Cup in 2010, the organization 's president Sepp Blatter reportedly voted for the U.S., while a potential rival for the presidency, UEFA chief Michel Platini, voted for Qatar."

Can't wait until they reveal the findings of the Garcia report. It would be awesome if the US ends up hosting it.

get that bribe money ready and it should be no problem.

It's Sepp Blatter, tell him you hate Christiano Ronaldo and give him $10 and you're set.

And if you want Neymar to be involved in the world cup in anyway then you have to pay for an orgy for his dad in a london hotel

And still almost no one in America will care about soccer.

LOL every country that put in a bid is saying they may get it after a re-vote. The world cup is the same as the Olympics. He who provides the largest untraceable bribes gets the most votes.

as it should. stop giving the world cup to these countries that need to build so much crap just to host it.

I hope so, I really do.

I was having a discussion with my brothers about this a few days ago saying that the world cup should consider re-locating to the US as opposed to Quatar. I think the US has bundles of potential to become a top footballing (soccer) nation. The infrastructure is already there and there's bound to be existing interest from companies like nike and adidas that would like to help see the sport grow in the US.

I mean surely there's bound to be more interest in the sport generated worldwide (especially the US) if it's held there and not Quatar. The stadiums, the atmosphere, the transport, the coverage and even the social side (like drinking) is better.
The US has some of the nicest stadiums in the world. Forget Quatar. Let quatar build the cities/stadiums first...and then consider it.

Much, much, much safer venue for everyone involved.

Heard the exact samre thing said about Australia.

America and Australia the main runners.
Japan and Korea less chance

I'm from U.S., I care, damn it!!
