Champion mixed martial arts fighter Urijah Faber’s title belt was among items stolen in the burglary of a Roseville martial arts studio early Thursday.

The burglary occurred about 2:40 a.m. at Marinoble’s Martial Arts Studio in the 100 block of Cirby Way. At least one man broke a front window to enter the business, said Dee Dee Gunther, Roseville Police Department spokeswoman. The burglar took cash, sparring equipment and martial arts memorabilia, including Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter Faber’s belt.

The business owner discovered and reported the burglary to police at 9:12 a.m. Gunther said police crime scene technicians responded and processed the scene for evidence.

The intruder was caught on surveillance video and appeared to be a white male in a hoodie, Gunther said. As of Wednesday afternoon, she said, the video wasn’t ready for public release.
