Here is one for all the manlets out there.
Faber really is a fantastic MMA grappler. His scrambling ability is second to no one, perhaps at any weight class.
Prime Faber was fun to watch. He is an example of what the baseline standard should be in terms of heart and gas tank. He was getting chopped away by Aldo and still didn't quit.
Before there was Conor, Max, or zabit....
There was blue cage faber.
The only whiteboy who could rock cornrows
His prime was over just as he joined the UFC and he never touched gold. He still gave us some amazing fights.
Faber was also (in his prime) able to deal out terrible punishment in guard.... Those lightening elbows and top control really were a thing to watch... Did not need to concern himself so much with advancing position.... Maybe this hurt him later as his opponents evolved a bit more.
