Prime Faber was fun to watch. He is an example of what the baseline standard should be in terms of heart and gas tank. He was getting chopped away by Aldo and still didn't quit.
Faber was also (in his prime) able to deal out terrible punishment in guard.... Those lightening elbows and top control really were a thing to watch... Did not need to concern himself so much with advancing position.... Maybe this hurt him later as his opponents evolved a bit more.
