He has a set contract. X amount of $ for X amount of fights. And he probably has a really long contract. It doesn't matter who he fights he's getting what he signed for in the contract.

This is what I thought of after reading Faber's comments.

Dana said Brock talked to Barry about hanging them up because he cares about the guy. Then Barry says Brock hasn't talked to him in a while or something. It was pretty funny.

I disagree. It is not playing baseball against each other. There may be a few guys too close to you to feel comfortable fighting. I am completely OK with that.

That is only part of it.

Obviously he knows the earning potential that comes with being champ, but even if we are just talking about the one fight, he is full of s**t.

His win/show money might stay the same, regardless of his opponent, but we all know that fighter compensation is not just the contract salary that gets reported to the commissions...there would be a huge behind-the-scenes pay day for both TJ and Uriah if they make that fight.
