Lol. Uriah is just another "midget". Say what you want but if Conor was fighting Faber now people would be having a field day.

Faber has had more than enough big fight opportunities.

Dude needs to get comfy at gatekeeper status cuz that's where he'll be from now on.

lol Dana wanted to protect Conor, but Conor wanted the payday even if it involved a bigger risk. Faber would get embarrassed.

Dana probably told Cerrone that too. And every other fighter that was in consideration.

If it were only up to Dana, I think we would be seeing McGregor vs Siver II (now it's personal).

So the UFC turned down Khabib but wanted Faber?

Nothing more needs to be said, Conor may not be ducking anybody but the UFC sure as fuck is.

Dana wanted another half a male team fighter to take the fight on short notice? Surprising

Everybody with nothing to lose wanted that fight. Hell, if Dana called me, I wanted that fight.

How would that look? Faber, normally fights at 135lbs. here conor is, ready to fight for the 155lb title, the champion pulls out and conor is going to fight a guy that normally fights 2 weight classes LOWER. That would be a freaken embarrassment. I can hear the all the negative comments now. Conor needed to fight someone at least a good size. Diaz fits the bill. By himself, diaz doesn't equate to a big ppv, but with conor, he makes the best case for a big money ppv...

I agree. Step in, make millions for a round or less of work. Can't beat that.
