I'm currently training and lifting with my roomate and since he's gotten serious about powerlifting I'm trying my best to help correct his form on the deadlift. He has good hip drive and pulls from the heels and keeps his back straight however, he can't stand exactly upright when pulling heavy, he's almost doing an RDL and I think it might be upper back weakness.
I never had him do heavy rows or weighted pull ups (like I did or most did who started out with SS) so I think I may be to blame for that. Does this sound like a proper diagnosis for the issue?
I know a video would be the best help however, I don't have one at the moment. Thoughts? Help would be much appreciated.
