I was one of the guys who thought he had almost no chance against Izzy, but man was I wrong lol. I'm still having trouble believing Sean became champion and that's even crazier when not long ago he came out of 2022 being 1-2 in his last three fights, just a huge career rebound with what he's been to accomplish this year.

Man, it seems Israel couldn't get the distance right and Strickland just took it to him.

I was another of the many that thought there was no way Strickland, with his Archie Moore boxing defense and plodding style would win - he freaking owned Adesnaya and that one two at the end of the 1st round was admittedly all that.

We'll see what goes down from here as far as title defenses go - as it stands much respect, big win for the new champ.
