Hello!
Owing to the success of the first ever Rankings game (whatever you want to call it), I'm now running a second six-monthly tournament!
PLEASE NOTE: I have reduced the number of points for selecting a future UFC Champion from 25 to 20, as some users felt it skewed the results too much. While it's an incredible feat, I tend to agree. 20 points is still a higher-than-normal amount (it's 15 for the #1 ranked fighter anyway), so there is still a bonus element to it. Good luck finding the next one!
----
Game Rules:
Pick 1 unranked fighter from each division that you believe will be ranked on the 1st July 2023. It doesn't count if they are ranked next week, but drop back out before the mid-year interval; you get no points.
If you pick more than 1 unranked fighter in a division, your pick for that division is disqualified. If you accidentally pick a ranked fighter, your pick for that division is disqualified.
At various points, I'll lock people's picks in so they can't edit them later. I'll let you know as/when I lock your picks in, but up until then you can still edit them.
When July 1 2023 comes, I'll score you.
Scoring will work like this:
1 point for 15th, 2 points for 14th, and so on, with 15 points for being the number 1 ranked fighter. I'll give you 20 points if your pick is the champion on that date, but it's very unlikely.
Person with the most points will win... something. Like, actually something, as long as I can get it to you.
DEADLINE: Midnight 13th January 2023 (the night before the next fight card) - NO EXCEPTIONS.
