There is still a case for Rich Franklin to be considered top MW ever, thus far. I believe Silva was roided to the gills when he twice beat Ace. Weidman is my favorite MW of all time, but with his loss to Rockhold, I think there is an argument for Rich still.

How on earth could you ever put Franklin above silva? Doesn't make any sense...

Rockhold/Jacare was close, and a lot of people disagreed with the decision. I need to rewatch it, because it's been well-over a year since my last viewing.

Maia had pretty damn good wrestling at MW, too. His rag-dolling of Sonnen was impressive as hell.

I disagree that Maia had good wrestling at mw. That sweep on Sonnen was a great, isolated moment. His wrestling at 170 has been so so much better, more effective, and more dominant.

Not only that, I also believe Anderson's knee shot was legal, but morally wrong - which kind of makes me see him as a bit of a hypocrite.
