I’m probably in the minority that thought that Frankie should’ve beat Benson twice, he should’ve won the “Draw” against Maynard, and also convincingly beat BJ that first time.

I think the most controversial decision was the Benson fights where I actually thought he should’ve won UD both times.

I agree on the BJ Penn fights, also Benson.

Maynard draw was appropriate imo, what a comeback from Frankie but he got dropped so many times too.

These are all considered bumfights now. The sport has evolved.

I gave Frankie the second Benson fight and both BJ fights

I'm not shocked that you have that opinion. Personally I thought Edgar vs. Benson 1 could have gone either way, but to this day I feel like he clearly won the rematch.

Bendo dominated Frankie 49-46 in the first fight. Caught Frankie with one of the most devastating upkicks of all time.

Maynard had a 10-7 1st round after dropping Frankie 3+ times in the rematch. Should have won 47-46.

Edgar lost the first BJ and Bendo fight.

I honestly can't remember his fights with Bendo or his first fight with Maynard.

Should of finished him.

Edgar lost the first BJ and Bendo fight.
It was close enough to go either way.

I actually got into an altercation the night of the Frankie/BJ 1 fight because I vehemently defend Frankie winning...and I live in Hawaii

First fight with BJ was close but I edged it to him, but wouldn’t argue it going the other way. He clearly dominated the rematch.

Second fight with Maynard was a rightful draw. Third fight he obviously won by finish.

First fight with Benson was a close fight but I edged it to Benson. Second fight to me was an obvious Frankie win, was baffled by that one.

Those opinions aren’t that unpopular. Lots of people think he beat Henderson

I think people weren’t expecting Edgar to win the title from BJ so they were in denial that he won.

Against Benson, people wanted to believe Benson won that fight cuz Frankie was too boring of a champion for his decision style.

Won both Penn fights, should have won the second fight with Benson, the second Maynard fight was rightfully a draw

getting dropped 70 times in 1 round has nothing to do with scoring the other 4 rounds

I agree.
It was when BJ was on top an no one really expected Frankie to outwork him.
....but I did and oh I did.
And let me paint a picture. I was working in a bar owned by people from Hilo who are personal friends of BJ. The bar was packed to the gills with drunk local Hawaiians.
...and this lone bartender decided to take the underdog from Toms River, NJ :)
It was a fun night.

Lost to BJ once, drew with Gray, and lost to Bendo once on my scorecards.

Robbed vs Bendo 2 for sure.
