Unofficial Sherdog Protein Shake Recipes (and How-To) Thread

i had some dark chocolate almond milk w/ 2 scoops of whey and 1.5 tbsp of orange tang. tastes fuckin good just like a chocolate bar with orange flavor
 
1. 2 cups of whole milk (600 calories)
2. 1 cup of unflavored greek yogurt (400 calories)
3. 3 TB spoons of coconut oil (400 calories)
4. 2 cups of sliced mango (200 calories)
5. 2 scoops of vanilla whey protein (260 calories)

1800 calories in about a 10 minute feeding, can't beat that.

Because I am a Motherfucker
1. 1 whole box of thin mint girl scout cookies (1200~ calories)
2. 3 cups of whole milk (1100~ calories)
3. 2 scoops of chocolate muscle milk (400~ calories)
4. 2 scoops of vanilla whey protein (300~ calories)
5. 1 cup of coconut oil (1100~ calories)

In all, about 4100~ calories or so. Try it sometime!
 
Some of these are too elaborate and time consuming in my opinion. Like the ones that require iced coffee or green tea. You'd actually have to brew the coffee/tea, then cool it down before you can even begin.

Dont mean to sound like a devil's advocate, just thought this was a good spot to add that those Starbucks VIA instant packets dissolve instantly in a shake..cold. No brewing, and the coffee is pretty decent compared to most instant coffee unless you have a tiny peen and feel the need to point how cool you are because you drink "real" coffee.

Not to mention that lots of Keurig machines brew ice coffee and ice tea cold...no cooling required.

You are putting it in a protein shake not sitting at a bar with a bunch of newsboy hat wearing hipsters.

One tip about this shake, you need to blend this low and slow, for or it'll get fluffy and unpleasant texture. Freeze the cookies before hand is also an option.

I weighed in after the workout at 212 that day, and after the next day's workout I weighed in at 221. I blame the shake. I've only done it 2 or 3 times as it's had similar effects each time. Additionally I added a cup of peanut butter once on top of all that.

Because this is a recipe thread:

Standard Breakfast Shake

1 cup of frozen fruit
2 scoops of protein
1 cup of uncooked oatmeal
1 tbsp of coconut oil
1 scoop of Lion's Mane mushroom powder 500:1 extract
1 scoop of Chaga mushroom powder 200:1 extract
1.5 cups of cold water
Blend on 3-4 on a Vitamix for 1 minute
 
2x scoops chocolate whey isolate
1x whole banana.
Mix with water or milk.
On the weekends for a cheat day blend a couple scoops of ice cream in there, nice and simple.
