Not flawless but i love this movie

Unbreakable

Probably because of the success of the Sixth Sense that this movie could not have possibly live up to the hype. Questionable marketing strategy also didn't help either. But it's a great movie on its own merit.

Kingdom of Heaven

It's review is mixed. Roger Ebert gave it 3.5/4, but only 39% on rotten tomatoes. The theatrical release was so poorly cut due to time constraint that the story didn't make much sense. It required an additional 50min of director's cut to bring it back to life.

The Descent is super good.

I love it but the Alone in the Wilderness documentary is the tits too.

In 1968 a 51 year old decides to move to Alaska and live off the land, Builds a cabin and lives it up until he was 83 or so before his kids drag him back to the world.

This movie surprised me soooo much, have seen it over 5 times. Some hilarious moments and some really gritty ones too. Heard they are doing a sequel.

Spartan (2004) and Black Rain (1989) just off the top of my head. When I think of a couple more hidden gem type movies I will post a follow up ITT. Both movies deserve a at least a 7.0 on imdb.com.

Conversely something like Wreck It Ralph with way more reviewers will score a 7.8/10. That is just an example but you get the point.

Time for some Underrated recent horror

Cold Prey 2

I hated the first Cold Prey movie, but this one is one of the best slashers I have seen in a really long time. If you like gory slasher movies and you haven't seen this you need to watch it ASAP.

Botched

Excellent mix of Horror/Comedy/Crime, just a blast to watch. One of those flicks that starts off a little sub par but then shit hits the fan HARD.

i think its underrated. most ppl hate on it cuz it beat out munich & brokeback mt for best pic. regardless, how the intertwining plotlines told a story about racism was fantastic. i dont think this movie got enuff love from ppl
