So I got some underarmour for grappling yesterday and I effing love it. I read the back and it says no softener, wash in cold, and light dry cycle right? So I'm planning on washing it with the machine and hang drying, but I have a question about using detergent? I use powder detergent, and I believe it doesnt have softener in it, so should I be in the clear for washing it with powder detergent? Or will it weaken it? I basically just don't want it weak, ripped, and smelly.

they're durable. i've had the same shirts for a year and i wash them with my other clothes after every class. never looked at the directions, and they're holding up just fine.

I wash my underarmour and other branded stuff with my regular laundry.
Have done so for a couple years now.
Sometimes I bother to hang dry them, but usually not.
(fwiw, I rock tight UA/rashies, so the temporary shrink the dryer gives em is no biggy.)

^_^ Agreed. Washing it normally has done nothing to any of my Under Armour. Some of my pieces I've had for a few years now, so wash and wear away...
