I've read on this site many a time about the above being a treat that is not featured on American TV. Par example: http://www.sherdog.net/forums/f48/anyone-watch-ripper-street-bbc-2350531/ When you watch HBO and FX shows like The Sopranos and Sons of Anarchy do you get boobs blurred out? Because we see all of it here. I don't quite understand.
I've also noticed, since I've been in the States, that HBO and AMC also block out swearing - what the hell is up with American TV!
For HBO I think nothing is censored because it's not cable. But if it's something like The Sopranos on cable they'll cut out some parts because there is nudity. Seriously I think that if we have all these parental controls and rating on tv to keep kids from watching certain shows then there might as well be nudity and swearing.
When I was in America they showed The Sopranos at like 3pm which is unheard of over her but it was censored. I heard they have no watershed so they have all programmes at all times but they're all censored so it's like having diet coke 24/7 instead of water until 9pm then vodka and red bull all night.
It really is silly. To show boobs, you have to be a subscription channel like HBO or Showtime. We really need boobs on the tube, it would relieve some of our stress.
Tits horribaad ! Oh you ! I bet you're well into that scaredy cat Alex I need 50 guns to protect my family bloke.
I love that graphic violence is cool, no problems here! But if a bit of human flesh, not even in a sexual context, is shown; it has to be censored. THINK OF THE CHILDREN DAMMIT!
I downloaded the new episode of Justified last night and boobs. Do you have to subscribe to see them? Honest question, what channel's it on there?
Regular tv is censored, though. It's odd, some channels censor the swearing, but I think South Park has allowed Comedy Central to say whatever they want now.
