Will be ordering my 1st unbleached kimono tomorrow (Rolls). SYR mentioned these are not preshrunk and warn of hot wash/drying causing major shrinkage.
I own numerous other regular kimonos and all my SYR are A3 which I am on the upper end of their sizing chart. I always hang dry the jackets and they fit me perfect. I don't like the way their A4 fit me and don't want to be stuck with a kimono that fits me awful
Anyone that owns an unbleached kimono already and can shed some light on shrinkage with just normal washing and hang drying. I know most unbleached kimonos are old school and were usually cut big and judo like so owners prolly did try shrinking them, but maybe someone can chime in with some info.
