Regardless of who wins between Khabib-Dustin I would want Tony Ferguson to get title shot but that seems unlikely considering that Dana will be Dana so the next best thing would be Poirier vs Conor 2

Conor clowned Dustin and tko'd him at ufc 178. Dustin has come a long way and I hope he gets a shot at redemption

I think beating Khabib to win the belt in the most competitive division would be redemption enough. Chasing Conor is lame.

The last adequate southpaw he fought koed him stiff. Conor would still find the chin and when he does Dustin will sleep. Their fights with Alvarez also told a story though I don’t want to go the MMA math route.

Not really. Two fights ago he was getting wrestle fucked by a completely shot Eddie Alvarez. Don’t let his win over max cloud the facts, he’s still got a questionable chin.

Saying McGregor hasn’t grown Isn’t really true, since completely embarrassing Eddie(where he showed big improvement) he’s fought two guys with a combined 77-0 record in their respective sports. Both would likely beat Dustin.

Recency bias is real but that Eddie fight told me that McGregor and Ferguson outclass Dustin.
The Holloway fight didn’t really tell me anything I didn’t already know.
