UK Player Simon Hayes (CGJJ) promoted to Black Belt tonight

One of my senior instructors and friends - Simon Hayes was awarded his Black Belt last night by Wilson Cretaro Da Luz.

For those that dont know - Simon has been a dedicated BJJ player for many years fought in many countries and competitions including the 10K clash last year. He fights as often as he can and always has sage advice on all bjj subjects.

One more British BJJ Blackbelt!!!!

Well done to him, ive never met him in person but read his blogg which was very entertaining and has helped me in some occasions where I haven't wanted to spar.

Its also good to have some more home grown blackbelts.
