UFCs pound for pound list

Haha okay dude. Aldo got embarrassed by Conor, that's that.
I don't think outstriking someone in 1/2 rounds and bloodying him up is getting embarrassed but sure man, we will just agree to disagree.

Dunno dude, Conor went on and on about how he was too big and powerful for the midgets. As soon as he fights someone his own size look what happens.

1 Jones
2 Cruz
3 D. Johnson
4 Dos Anjos
5 Lawler
6 Edgar
7 Rockhold
8 Nurmagomedov

P4p isn't about defending belts. So TS starts already dumb.
Ufc's p4p rankings haven't been right once since they started it.

There was what, 5 lbs difference on fight night. Conor midget fighter couldn't handle Nates skinny fat body.
Then why are you calling the people who Conor fights midgets if they weigh about the same in the cage?
You're contradicting yourself, because you're saying Conor uses his height advantage well what do you think Nate did?

1. Jones
2. Dos Anjos
3. Cormier
4. Johnson
5. Cruz

There's no such thing as pound for pound. It's just impossible to compare fighters who belong in different, sometimes distant weight classes.

Comparing DJ to Jon Jones is like comparing apples and oranges.
Agreed, well said. I'm never fan of p4p.

Out of those 5, Rockhold is the only guy that I respect.

As if Conor weighed the same as any of his 145lbs opponents on fight night. Even Conor said he was bigger than them all. First time Conor fought someone the same size as him he lost. Deal with it.

They most likely weighed about the same in the cage you moron, you just have a double standard because you hate Conor.
If you think Nate is Conor's size than I suppose DC is the same size as JBJ.

I don't hate Conor, I enjoy watching him fight. I'm just not delusional. Conor being the same weight as the other 145ers and smaller than Nate Diaz is as accurate as his $400 million estimate.

1 Jon Jones

2 Demetrious Johnson

3 Luke Rockhold

4 Dominick Cruz

5 Rafael Dos Anjos

what do you think of this list?

I think it is pretty solid except Luke Rockhold should be further down. He is ranked higher than both Robbie Lawler and Joanna who are also Champions and have defended their belt multiple times.

Given Luke did beat a Chris who himself defend his belt three times but I dont think that one win propels him to number three pound for pound. What are the UFCs motives in this..
LUKE ROCKHOLD??? is TRT VITOR number 2.5...

that looks more like a "whoever is "dominant the moment" list

P4P is such a confusing list.
Sure I see it as a list of the best of the best regardless of weight class, but then again, you put all those guys in a tourney or a dark alley and those numbers move around a bit........

Yeah it difficult to compare guys from different weight classes, but lets face it. If they were all the same size DJ would beat everyone.

But I always see P4P as their achievement within their own weight class and use that to relatively compare to another weight class.

For example we can still rank fighters within the same weight class when they havent fought the same opponent.

E.g. Fighter A and B fight in the same weight class. Fighter A can fight fighter B, Fighter C can fight fighter D. How do we rank them? We can use relative achievement.

So you are saying that if DJ was as big as Jones, his speed would translate to that weight? Or that if Jones was as small as DJ, he wouldn't be just as quick?

This is why P4P makes no sense at all. The skills that smaller guys have is because they are small (ie, speed, balance, cardio, etc) - it doesn't mean that if they were physically larger people that they would be able to carry those attributes with them, or that if larger guys all of a sudden became smaller, that they wouldn't gain a lot of the advantages that supposedly propel DJ to the top of P4P lists.
