He did fight. Aldo pussed out and didn't show so Pettis had to fight Holloway instead. Holloway won, and Aldo is still avoiding him with new demands that are ridiculous. He refused Holloway at UFC 205. Stop acting like that didn't happen or just GTFO.

Aldo has only fought 7 fighters in his entire time the UFC. He has only beaten 6 of them. He has ducked more fighters than he has beaten. Aldo has the weakest record of anyone that has held the featherweight belt.

Holloway is a good fighter and now has the opportunity to start on the path to being a great fighter but at this point in time he hasn't won a unified belt yet and may have beaten 13 fighters in the UFC but he also has 3 losses and one of those was a stoppage.
