UFC will strip Aldo's plastic belt if he doesn't fight Holloway

Anyone who is actually buying into this nonsense that he is moving up to 155 is smoking crack. Aldo doesn't want difficult match ups with bigger guys at 155. The UFC is just using him as a pawn to get Cu Coy and Khabib to sign the contract. Smart and shrewd move actually, and it just worked with Khabib to get Conor and Alverez to sign their contract. Good move by Dana.

Once that doesn't happen, Aldo will only have Holloway again, and he will look for every reason to complain or threaten the UFC again most likely. He doesn't want to fight Holloway.

The UFC just STRIPPED CONOR"S 145 BELT which will give them easy justification to take Aldo's fake interim belt if he won't fight Holloway for like the 3rd time where he keeps ducking him. The UFC can easily take Aldo's belt since they just took Conor's belt. If you think they won't you are dumb as well. They'll just take it and make Holloway the full champion and let him fight someone else instead, but if they have to do that Aldo's plastic belt is gone.

 

It's not Aldo's fault Max Holiday wants to enjoy Disneyland with his family. Aldo can't make Holloway fight him.

 

But who would take over as interim champ if they made Max real champ?

Since when is Febuary the only month that Aldo can fight an opponent? Does he have to go into the army or go to jail for the rest of 2016? Why this demand for only Febuary? And since when is Aldo ever in a huge hurry to fight? If that was the case why didn't he fight Holloway instead of ducking and having Holloway fight Pettis hoping Pettis would beat him instead? He offered to fight Pettis by the way. Why wouldn't he fight Holloway at that time? And why is he only willing to fight Holloway in Febuary for some reason, and if not he'll have to fight in other divisions? Lol!

The UFC won't go for this shit from him anymore. They stripped the highest PPV selling machine ever in Conor. They'll damn sure strip Aldo.

Aldo hasn't beaten jack hardly in the last two years while Holloway has beaten like 10 guys straight. He is the real champ based on the last few years of work. He hasn't lost. They would just have Holloway as the champ and whoever he fights will be fighting for the belt. Aldo could get a shot at it whenever he stops hiding from Holloway.

That is the only way Aldo will ever sign on to fight Holloway any way. The minute that the UFC gave Aldo that stupid interim belt they gave him more room to pull shenanigans. But since they stripped Conor and gave Holloway a belt, there is no reason to allow Aldo to keep his if he won't fight for the belt against Holloway. The UFC gains nothing by having Aldo as a belt holder. He loses money for them, so they won't just let him sit on that belt with Holloway having one as well.

 

Whatever gets you off man. As if 9 defence Aldo who's beaten a who's who at FW is scared of Max Holloway.

 

So Aldo just beat Edgar at UFC 200 (former LW champ - and he beat him for the second time) and has also faced every other contender in the past 6 years - but he's fucking TERRIFIED of Max Holloway???

Regardless of what you want to lie about, the UFC will take that belt from him. They took it from Conor who fights the best guys possible and draws huge numbers. They have no reason to play games with Aldo when he isn't even an asset to the organization.

lol what, when has he ducked Holloway? Holloway called him out for a specific date and then realised he'd booked those expensive and hard to get Disneyland tickets. Aldo may have pulled out of some fights before but he's ALWAYS ended up fighting them.

 

Go pull up any title fight of Aldo's and look at how much people care about him at this division? They don't.

Only decent draw he ever had was with Conor and we know why that is.

Bottom line is that he isn't any kind of asset to where the UFC will allow that belt to sit on the shelf when Holloway has his own and keeps trying to fight him.

The "I will only fight Holloway in Febuary" condition is the most hilarious attempt to duck someone I've ever seen.

Actually Pettis called Aldo out, and he ducked Pettis. Dana spoke about it multiple times and said they forced Aldo to accept that fight.
