You oversimplified the problem. One cannot justify Ronda rousey, a challenger getting 10x as much as nunes, the actual champ, in any way at all. The same way you can't justify the highest paid fighter getting more than a 1000x more than the least paid fighter on the same roster working in the same organization, simply because of popularity and other bs factors. It's shady af.

UFC might as well fix fights. They determine who gets a title shot even if not earned while ripping of #1 contenders on streaks based on popularity . Thats some shadyass shit.

i have never seen anything close to what i will call as fixed fight in UFC, not even close.

but i have seen pride fight where there is almost no way that isn't fixed.

Pride had the better HW, LHW, LW divisions, not even close. UFC had a better WW division though
