Spike recently re-branded as the fight channel and launched the "Fighters First" campaign.
Spike is launching a new marketing campaign around the network's combat sports programming. The "Fighters First" initiative is a multiplatform campaign that speaks to the company's focus on supporting and building the fighters up as individual brands. From shoulder programming specials that run on Spike to digital features that showcase the fighters' lives outside the ring – Spike is dedicated to serving fight fans by focusingon letting the fighters become the stars.

Spike puts fighters first in other ways – from supporting up and coming fighters who are military veterans with our VOW initiative to our continued support of the Cleveland Clinic's renowned study on Fighters Brain Health – Spike puts fighters first inside and outside of the ring.

Spike Sports' "Fighters First" launches on Friday, April 1 in the 2016 premiere PBC event. Enclosed is a first look at the campaign:

Spike has Bellator, Bellator kickboxing, and PBC.

The UFC in turn have UFC, Glory, and some random BJJ org.

Do you think the UFC is trying to brand itself as a "Fight" content producer now instead of just MMA?
