Generic wrestler boxer continues to get paired up with Ronda or top draws. The guy has no personality and so static...don't understand why the UFC tries to continously shove this guy down our throats so much.

Guy continues to get carried by other top fighters.....now he has to be the co-main at UFC 194.

Well, because Weidman was the guy who knocked out the so called GOAT in front of 1.5 million people.

    That's why.

Yet the guy isn't drawing zilch. Everything he does or is shown is backed by somebody else. Why don't they let the guy float by himself if he's so amazing?

When he took Silva's head clean off with a single punch how close did you come to offing yourself?

I agree. I also don't think he's as good as he's made out to be, lets see what he does with rockhold.

This. We have a seriously butt hurt Silva fan over here. Probably a Belfort fan too. Poor boy.

He doesn't have to have personality or charisma or whatever you think it is that he so desperately needs to sell - he's the champion because he's good at what he's supposed to be good at... fighting.

This. I have seen several comments just today that he is boring, but I'm not feeling it. He's a great fighter and his fights are usually great.

Ronda was the co-main to his main headlining the last time I checked and his defense against Machida was the top ppv for 2014. That included Ronda main event that year. Weidman is undefeated, finishes fights, and is the champ. Get over it.

well on the bright side youve given up deriding his skills and moved on to his personality, congrats on the progress but the remainder is irrelevant

It's easier for them to just cry about it when their favorite fighters get beaten by this "boring" "generic" fighter. They're taking the easy way out. Lazy bastards.

He is severely overrated as well, especially on this neckbeard of a forum.

He is the champ, beat the former P4P king twice, people would watch him fight just because of that, besides the fact that he fights in a division where fighters have a size where most people never would dare to say they would hold their own agains them, you cant say the same about 135 or 125lbs dudes, even 145lbs get some of that.

I prefer fighters that don't force trash talk to sell fights. It gets boring hearing "Fighter x is X, Y, Z, I'm better everywhere, not on my level, etc." all the time.

took you one post to fall back off the wagon, seek help....i will say this, though- if you consider silva overrated then you have an argument when talking about him in the same sentence as bones but as for me (it did take a while honestly cause i didnt believe his amazing performances were repeatable) silva was really talented
