Also the majority of Indians are really poor, they can't afford ppv. So the Indian market is not mature enough for ufc to invest in.

Cricket is sport that's only popular in Britain and former colonies. The rest of the world doesn't care for this weird sport. It's like American baseball, long, boring and too complicated.

China has crazy infrastructure and good olympic program. It's like the old style soviet system on steroids where they recruit kids and put them in sports boarding schools.

You can look at Chinas olympic medal count.

India on the other hand, with equal population is nowhere near.
