UFC sign french heavy weight Francis N'Gannou

How about bringing in some of the young Eastern European heavyweights outside the UFC that are actually "known" and good, like Vitaly Minakov, Marcin Tybura, Denis Goltsov, Blagoy Ivanov, Alexander Volkov and Denis Smolarev? Would inject not only youth but a point of difference to the Heavyweight division.

Minakov's next fight is in Russia for Fight Night...Bellator probably needs to strip his belt at some point.

Ivanov went from Bellator to WSOF, so I'm guessing the UFC would have already had a shot to sign him. amazed hes actually alive, much less fighting at a high level. thought he was going to die after that stabbing news came out.

Not sure how i feel about that. His arm is basically an elbow, which though disadvantaged by range is basically a punch with a ruddy great bone attached.

Of all those guys listed, only Goltsov is truly obtainable, and should be obtained.

Ivanov is likely, given that the UFC seem able to snatch away WSOF fighters from time to time - he should also be obtained.

Tybura just lost, to Puetz. I believe that was his last M1 fight and if he won, UFC bound no doubt. Now he needs 1-2 wins before being signed, in other promotions.

Smoldarev I believe is M1.

Not easy to prise these dudes away.

I think Minakov is going to get out of his Bellator contract at some point and will probably sign up as well. He talks about wanting to fight in the UFC. He'd be a huge HW signing compared to most we've had lately.

His ground game needs work and he probably needs to add weight if he's going to stay at HW. Both those can be fixed though, he's only 24. That kick was pretty fast. McSweeney isn't the can some make him out to be. He usually gives everyone trouble before getting finished. He's obviously not great but he's better than that 14-13 record.
