I mean Anderson is getting old and a fight against spong will be a perfect comeback fight for silva. A fun match up but at the same time a easy enough fight for Anderson to win. So no more hard fights for silva, just give him a break and match him up against someone like spong who is a fun fighter, but still a easy fight for silva to win.

Also I think a lot of fans would want this fight to happen. Silva is also getting old and the weight cut plus IV ban will make it even harder for him to cut to MW and be healthy.
