UFC should do a 4 man tournament for the new Lightweight champ. The winner of Conor vs Dustin should fight the winner of Oliveira(aloe vera) vs Gaethje, for the belt. So whoever’s wins there matched will fight for it. Seems to me that would be fairest way. Also still keeps Conor there cash cow in it too

Thoughts?

Like in one night or they all face each other over time?

Just the matches I put up, on the same ppv. Then both of the winners fight for belt in an upcoming ppv. Creates the perfect build too soo more ppv sales $

Please keep Conor away from any title until he's truly earned it

A 7-Man tourney would work.
Dustin gets a first round bye since he's number 1, the rest would be charles, chandler, justin, tony, conor and Nate diaz. All seeded based on their ranking, with nate being the lowest since he is unranked at 155. Dustin fights the lowest seed in the second round, and you just go from there. That's what I would do. 4 man tourney in pointless

nope to Dustin fighting lower ranked guys for a 7man tournament. Also Tony doesnt deserve it after both those bad loses and Chandler only has one win in UFC. Dont even get me started on Nate lol. None of them even deserve the chance right now for the belt.

Thats why it has to be 4man, they are real deserving contenders(not really conor but you know $$ oh well)

A tourney would prove who is really deserving. That's the point of a tourney lol. Nate and Tony would have the hardest fights in the first round since they are ranked lowest and so on. This would be the best move if they took the tourney route

No More Mr Nice guy 6.0 would bring an army of Irish Balloon Shoulder Warriors and Stun Guns if he wasn't involved.

Conor isn't in the title talk for now.. just got ko'd.

They did it for flyweight, so I don't see why it couldn't happen.

Didn't they retroactively call it a draw? I forget and I'm too lazy to google it.
It was initially announced as a majority decision win for DJ (which was preposterous), then later ruled a draw (which by the rules of the tournament would mean they should have gone to an overtime 4th round), and they ended up rematching 3 months later, where DJ looked like a completely transformed fighter.

That's right. Man, McCall just never really looked better than that first Mighty Mouse fight. Even then, if I remember correctly, he caught him in a crucifix and it warranted a 10-8 round.

Conor vs Dustin III since both guys want it
Oliveria vs Chandler for the belt
Gaethje vs Felder
