125 is still one of the smaller divisions by population, and the divisional champion draws less than 150k on PPV. They won't add lighter weight classes until at least one of those things changes.

If they ever add a new men's division, and I hope they don't, I think they'd move Welterweight to 165 lb and add a Light Middleweight 175 lb division, since fighter population is higher around 155-170.

Any discussion on weight classes is likely to get a lot of dissenters. I do think that with the impending ban on IV rehydration, there will be major shifts between weight classes, and if anything, more fighters are going to move up rather than down in weight.

FLW doesn't even draw, so there isn't really a strong case to make that an even smaller division would be successful when MM PPV numbers would suggest people don't like watching smaller men fight.

No it's a horrible idea. You should shutup. And none of those guys are going to be champion. Even if they became champion it would not bring in lots of money for the organization because no one cares about the lighter weight classes. Mighty Mouse couldn't even get into a club even though he's the champion. I doubt some hindu guy is going to revolutionize MMA in Asian.

There was talk of adding a men's 115, but nothing has come of fruition, yet. The UFC may have dropped the idea for the time being.

Ya, there was talk at one point of doing a 105 division with the intention of it being primarily for Mexico and other Latino countries.

quite possibly the most racist rant I've read on Sherdog. If the other races are so strong and superior why the need for steroids and peds? why do they have to drop so much weight and fight smaller guys? I have a question for you did you pull the facts out of your ass?
