Canadians are likely to be replacements. Maybe Jessica Rakoczy if she's not injured?

I like this. But I am sure it will be a Canadian filling in.

    I am thinking Kaufman.

But she just fought in April, so, maybe not.

    Ruins the card, damn!

Hopefully Delorme/Tanaka will now move up the card make the televised portion of the event.

Cat Zingano! That would be an amazing fight! Dana said Cat would probably need a fight before she gets to fight Ronda, so this would be ideal for her.

She isn't ready, she turned down a fight for July IIRC.

Rakoczy hasn't fought in a while...

I thought Cat was cleared to start training again.

I don't think Rakoczy would be a good match for Miliana; she would get submitted in the first round. Rakoczy Vs De Randamie would have been a brilliant fight though!

She is but the OP says less than 3 weeks notice...

Maybe J High Eye after all.

Cat Zingano, although ready to start training, is still off a ways from being ready for a fight.

Jessica Rakoczy needs a fight but this is an awful matchup for her, far better a striker for her return fight after dealing with a serious shoulder injury.

Sarah Kaufman would have been a good choice but for her car accident and her desire to fight someone higher up in the rankings then herself.

Jessica Eye is a decent choice. Eye needs a fight.

I wouldn't mind seeing Jessica Andrade fighter her again, a rematch would be fun.

I guess there are a few others but I like Eye and Andrade more then some of the other choices like McMann.

3 weeks notice...might as well push it to the next card when the visa issue clears out.

Some fighters take fights less than 3 weeks notice, but if Cat doesn't fight her then hopefully Sara McMann will accept the fight! She is eager to fight Sarah Kaufman, who is more focused on fighting Cat or Miesha, so Sara should just fight Miliana. Jessica Eye is no good on the ground, as evidenced in her fight with Alexis Davis, so this would be a bad match up for her.

Why don't you like the idea of McMann Vs Dudieva? The fighters that you want to fight Miliana aren't skilled on the ground, so they would most likely be submitted, but Sara is skilled on the ground, so I can't see Miliana submitting her.

I didn't say I don't like, just not as much as the other two choices I pointed out. Eye is fine on the ground, just not as good as Alexis Davis. Davis is one of the best ground fighters at 135 at the moment.

Jessica Andrade submitted Milana Dudieva already, by guillotine late in the second round. Andrade used to go for that guillotine all of the time in her fights and it got her into trouble against Liz Carmouche. (Carmouche went for a body lock takedown and Andrade jumped guillotine instead of trying to defend it. Carmouche avoided the attempted guillotine attempt, probably knowing it was coming due to scouting how Andrade tends to fight. Carmouche's top game is/was strong enough to keep Andrade stuck until Herb Dean stopped the fight - a stoppage I disagree with due to Andrade properly defending herself despite being stuck and the crowd booing.)

That would be a rematch, Andrade vs. Dudieva.

The UFC was looking at bringing in Dudieva to the UFC when Andrade defeated her, Andrade got the offer.

    As seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ic0etLpKp5o

Andrade had been planning on going back down to 125 that summer to compete in the MMA Super Heroes Flyweight Tournament.

    Another edit:

One of the reasons I prefer Sara McMann to fight someone else is because I have felt Amanda Nunes needs a step up in competition and saw McMann as someone she could fight to prove her ground game is better then it was back when she lost to Alexis Davis and Sarah D'Alielo. A win over Nunes, for McMann, would be a strong showing she ought to get a shot at someone like Sarah Kaufman.

However I can see having Milana Dudieva fulfilling a similar role of Sara McMann in fighting Amanda Nunes without taking McMann out of the running to face Sarah Kaufman although I prefer Kaufman fighting Miesha Tate.

I do feel Nunes has done the work to move up the rankings a bit and McMann is closer in ranking then Kaufman or Tate to Nunes so that fight makes more sense to me.

Tate has a long history of calling for a rematch with Kaufman and has only, semi-recently, backed off that in favor of looking to fight Carano. Kaufman seems to be an after-thought to Tate at the moment.

Just personal opinions of what is good for the development of the division while making sense of the rankings, giving people proper shots, etc..
