Obviously a lot (if not all of them) are fake.

But they start somehow...so, whats the deal then?

I reckon when they signing contract, it is explained to them that causing rivalries will most likely get them noticed and will reflect on wages, but I am not sure 100% how it works.

A lot of cut fighters would spill the beans already about it, yet they sitting quiet.

Dunno really.

How you guys feel about it?

Not much to discuss, most do it for the $$$. More drama = more casuals.

However some rivalries are the real deal. Jones DC, Tee Toe Chuck, Wand vs Rampage (they squashed it but it was legit for years), etc.

I don't think the UFC explains that to anyone, I think it's on the fighters to promote themselves. Self-promotion is a whole skill of itself in this game.

The real rivalries come from many things. Camps waring with other camps, teammates not liking each other and so on.

Some are a work. But i dont think the ufc forces it. That would be the combatants.

Some are real and some aren't. A lot of times it's easy to tell which is which. But sometimes it's not. I'm not sure if the two Shammy Bros have had a legit beef or not. They're both such showmen it's hard to tell. I don't trust Bob Shamrock, either.

Jones/dc is real. Rampage/wand was real. Chuck/tito was/is real. The Diaz boys really start beef. Its how they fight. If it's natural, it will show. If it's staged like khabib/Tony It will show.
