Let's face it, even the UFC didn't believe in Bethe Correia. The reason they put 7 fights on the main card is because they knew the main event wouldn't last long, they knew Ronda was going to win. Just look at the betting favorite, look at how Bethe earned her title shot, listen to Ronda's fanboys arguing that a third match against Tate wouldn't have been better, all of these points out to what I'm explaining : Bethe Correia was meant to feed Ronda's record. It's a new name on the list, a new head on the board. Much better than another fight won against Miesha Tate (or any other rematch). But there's more proof, they were so sure of the mismatch, that they wanted to add fights to the card so the buyers wouldn't feel ripped off after seeing Rousey destroy (super sloppily) some under-achieved and non-deserving fighter, that only has the credit of owning a name which wasn't on Ronda's record, yet. At least, this is how I view the 7-fights mystery of UFC 190, perhaps people have other explanations? Or counter-examples? Either way, tell me if I'm wrong, it's my analysis.
