This is great news because it means the UFC is going to the streaming route instead of the old TV/PPV model.

They don't really have a choice. Old ways are dieded, or dieded'ing. Blockbuster-->Netflix.

I hope they use these servers to run Fight Pass with (can't be any worse than what they're working with now) and start airing all the televised events on it, plus all PPV events for free aside from 4 or 5 major ones that justify the money to buy PPV. They would get a shit ton of subscribers then. I'd pay a solid $15 per month for HD content. It would be even better if they had 4K and HDR content for those of us with the TV to handle it.

Fighters are gonna want ppv buys money though

Hopefully they're gna stream all WMMA and keep them off the ppvs

Cool, but I dont need UFC's help to stream their events.

They should put all content including PPVs on and charge like 20-25$ per month. So many more people would purchase it

Maybe they should have reinvested in the product they already have... Perhaps a better marketing team, and pay fighters more to help attract better talent?

neulion has the shittiest streaming tech. no wonder the nhl dumped them. even dana called them out when they fucked up the Mayweather fight
