UFC Primetime GSP-Hendricks EP2: Johny's known for his good cardio

Well it's not like he's pulled a Kimbo/Alexander ya dipshits. His cardio isn't that bad, yeesh. He fought hard till the end of his 3 round war with Condit.

GSP looked like he lost a step against Diaz.

It could be because of injuries, it could be because Diaz has relentless cardio himself, or it could be because GSP's fights are starting to catch up to him and his entire game is based on finesse and reaction.

We'll see.

It will be bad once he's in a 5 round fight. GSP lays on him for the first 3-4 rounds, guaranteed he will gas. If he comes out with cardio similar to GSP's, which I doubt, he will actually have a chance. It wont surprise me if after the first round we hear Rogan making one of his retarded comments, "Johnny is breathing with his mouth open!" Yea.....How else is he suppose to breathe Joe? With his mouth closed?

And I here this gabrage all the time, "he wont take me down", yet GSP does it to everybody. It's not that GSP's pure wrestling game is better then Hendricks, it's the way it's applied to MMA. The way he mixes up his combinations with his stand up game, you don't expect a shot and he takes you down. I would love to see Hendricks win, but strong chance he wont. GSP will decrease any chance of putting himself in danger with the jab. Another useless match at WW with GSP winning a decision, instead of what fans really want to see, a superfight.

Most likely it was because he was sick. It will be interesting to see him next though as he had ring rust against Condit and was sick and injured against Diaz. This time we should be able to see where he really stands.

How I feel as well. This fight will be very telling in terms of GSP's health, assuming he doesn't get KO'd in the 1st round.

The Dude Said Himself he Cuts from 220 .. Of course he'll Gas out .. The Question is .. Will he KO GSP before he Gases ? . I saw him on Ultimate Insider do this Spartan Challenge thing and he completed it but even then he had a bit of a belly .

GSP UD or Submission for sure . Johnny needs to either KO Georges in the first or pace himself and throw some Semtex in the later rounds if he has anything left by then .

He looked fine (in terms of cardio) against Condit through all five rounds.
The only "knock" against his performance was that he got caught by one of the best strikers in the division in a round he still won despite the headkick.

yeah that dude pushes the pace fking hard, and even in the gsp-condit fight you could see gsp tired after the third round so i dont think ppl should talk about cardio but gsps top control

3 rnd fight! Edit thought you were talking about Johnny! Sorry!

It's a show to promote/hype the fight, what do you expect? It serves their purpose.

The production is good and all, but I for one stopped following these countdowns/primetime shows a while ago

I laughed too...

That's the UFC. They want to sell the fight, and if they want it to sell well, they must let the fans think the challenger has a chance to win, even if we know cardio will be a problem for Hendricks in that fight, and even if we know GSP will use this flaw in Hendricks' game against him.

The UFC is a big lying marketing machine ;)
