considering wilder-fury did 300,000 buys and was considered a massive success, ufc is doing pretty well since they routinely break 200,000 buys on a monthly basis

2009-2012.

Such a fun time to be an MMA fan.

Wilder vs Fury only did 300k? Seemed like too many people were talking about it for it not to do good numbers.

The ufc is doing pretty well compared to pro boxing?

WME seem focused on making stars rather than them happening organically.

300k for Wilder v Fury seems low. I have always thought boxing was a sport more people will watch at a pub/venue

Numbers are not known yet
That was the o/u going into the fight
numbers have been announced. do a quick google search

ufc's crushing it. they're doing what the biggest heavyweight boxing match in 10 years did on a monthly basis. throw in ufc video games, merchandising, fight pass, youtube and other online ad revenue, ufc performance institute membership, espn deal, and everything else they do, and there's no surprise why they're now valued at 7 billion dollars and growing. attracting young talent from south america, nigeria, cameroon, australia, new zealand, asia.

ufc is here to stay folks

Those are early guesses
Nothing from cable companies yet
Numbers don't come out that quickly
they're usually close. the early numbers aren't based on random opinions, they're based on legit trending science and analytics. and they're usually super close to the real numbers

None of the early numbers have come from the source of all PPV numbers, that gets them direct from PPV providers.

Fury wilder was not a massive success.

The ppv model is dying. Too many illegal streams.

Other than superstars like, Conor, Floyd and Canelo, the numbers will not be huge.
