UFC PPVs in 2017 are down 50%.

Yikes. That’s what happens when you sell watered down PPV cards though.

The Fertitta brothers sold it at all time high.

The UFC needs a yuge new TV deal. PPV seems to be slowly dying unless you're Mcgregor/Mayweather.

80% of the cards in 2017 were pretty badly watered down.

no.
that's what happens when you are a terrible promnotion and you do not build your fighters.
That's what happen when you go for "money fights" instead of long-term good fighters.
That's what happens when you cater so much to your biggest (and only) star, harming your own product, and then he takes a full year off.

Stars drive PPV sales, and the UFC stars were missing in action in 2017.

Conor: Three fights in 2016; No MMA fights in 2017.

Ronda: One fight in 2016; No fights in 2017.

Brock: One fight in 2016; No fights in 2017.

If they bounced back from dem 2014 numbers, I'm sure they can do the same in 2018.

Watch me jinx it and this be the last year of the UFC, lol.

Conor and Ronda kept the UFC afloat the previous two years. It was trending downward until they came along.

According to who exactly?

there were performance incentives in the UFC sale and they hit all of them. the UFC isnt doing bad under WME just not as well as people might have expected.

Thats largely what happens when McGregor and Rousey are not in the picture. UFC was doing some pretty crappy PPVs in 2016(150,000 buys for Holloway v Pettis).

The UFC brand was extremely strong in 2008/2009 when nontitle fights airing in the afternoon would pull 200k+.

I remember 2014 being a terrible year with so many injuries and fighters pulling out.

Dana isn't going to do business with you for reporting fake numbers.

Pretty big dip this year. Some decent cards, but nothing overly memorable.

GSP still sells and Canelo has back to back million plus PPVs in the USA only

I see that you’re on top of posting these after PPVs and collecting the data but I just wanna know, do you stream or do you buy these each month?

Myself, I used to buy pretty religiously until I discovered Reddit and got rid of cable all together. But the choice is also more in the fact that the PPV quality isn’t consistent. Last PPV I bought was MayMac but it’s down to one single buy a year based on lack of content for those 5 fights.

According to numbers
It was worth $3.795b when sold & the last evaluation was $5b in September 2017
When companies make more money, the value goes up
They had record breaking year in 2017 as far as earnings
Info has been posted here a lot
But check out - http://www.bjpenn.com/mma-news/ufc-financial-predictions-2017-may-come-surprise/
I can actually confirm this through some people involved in SLH. Supposedly #MayMac was the significant reason for this or they wouldve been well under. On that note, I heard the UFC took the majority of what Conor was supposed to make (meaning Conor probably didnt make $100 million+ like he said he did)

However there will be no #MayMac this year
