I think that just tied Rumble for the biggest weight miss to date. Like how do you miss weight by over a weight class?

I must be missing something here. CW 139..Did Zarah somehow lose 7 or 8 lbs to come in at 139 or 140 within the regulation weigh in window?? I don’t usually watch the weigh ins. I usually just read about them in here.

As far as I can tell some time ago (over 4 hours) they changed the bout to 139 catchweight even before the weigh in.

Yea think 8 lbs is in the range or I'm guessing that's why they adjusted it so.

The same could not be said for Zarah Fairn (6-4 MMA, 0-2 UFC), who was attempting to make the bantamweight limit for the first time in her UFC career in a bout against promotional newcomer Josiane Nunes (7-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC).

While the bout was moved to a catchweight of 139 pounds, Fairn weighed 147 pounds, and the bout was scrapped by the Nevada Athletic Commission.

Additionally, Tracy Cortez (8-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) came in one-half pound over the non-title women’s flyweight limit of her contest with Justine Kish (7-3 MMA, 3-3 UFC) and was fined 20 percent of her purse.

Probably she was closer to making weight when doctors stopped the cut for some reason and forced her to rehydrate.

Since they announced a catcheight of 139 before weigh-ins, I'm guessing she was closing in on 139 when they stopped the cut and forced rehydration.

This most likely.

Earliest report of the catchweight (adjustment) I saw was 4 hrs prior to weigh-ins. May have been earlier.

Either way - kinda bummed for Josi.
 
I’m worried for Rob as always but Kelvin is a good dude and it could also save Rob from getting flattened by Izzy again.
