UFC on ESPN Does Another Record Rating

That card had to compete with the NBA and WWE. would be interesting to wait the final numbers.

1 year from now ratings will be down 25percent and everyone will say those are good numbers. 2 years from now ratings will be down 50percent and everyone will say those are good numbers. 3 years from now ratings will be down 75percent and everyone will say those are good numbers. In other words this will be UFC on fox all over again and no one will admit mma is losing fans.

Ratings across all of television are down significantly. Football is the only thing that's bulletproof. But the idea that they suddenly got a significant viewership increase since debuting on ESPN and it's attributable solely to the fact that it's a new on ESPN is ridiculous. Predicting viewership declines based on nothing is also ridiculous.

Come on now.
You are being unfair.
The PPV should have included a title fight (Kelvin & WHittaker).
Besides, Anderson Silva alone is bigger than Cain & Ngannou and the rest of the free main card.
Add Adesanya (a young and very talented fighter) and other names like Alvey, Yahya, Lando and the PPV was a lot better both in quality and quantity of big names.

I would guess April 28 is the date of next big ESPN event. ESPN+ would be next week.

I do not understand why these events need to be on Sundays though..

Why do people care if they are on Sundays?

This ESPN deal has been bigger than I expected, apparently ESPN+ got like a million new subscribers for the first card and now this, IMO they aren’t even that great of draws on the cards either.

I also noticed that some of the top podcasts like Bill Simmons or Pardon My Take have been talking about the UFC more already.

Hell I hadn’t used Sherdog in months but kinda got pumped up with the recent cards in both the UFC and Bellator to come back on.

Global Fuckin’ Sport. It’s in our DNA or some shit.

Medics arrived, UFC is being resurrected confirmed!

Why do people care if they are on Sundays?

Monday morning in Europe and gambling reasons for me. I guess work in early monday morning would be bad for someone who wants to watch live in the us as well.
